This colored sketch is actually a request I made to *tukaram. I was curious to see what Tres would look like wearing an outfit like Ryuk's in Death Note. Needless to say I was pleased with the results ^^

Anyways, *tukaram requested that I color it and show it to her. Indeed, I colored everything but Tres' face and hands because a friend once told me (and she was right) that the fanarts I printed and colored with markers looked better if the skin was not colored.

I know that Ryuk's clothes are a bluish color, but I didn't think Tres would look as appealing in blue as he does in black. Also, for the feathers and straps I used a dark grey that could be mistaken for black.

And lastly, the reason why the lines of Tres' hair are a darker color is because I couldn't decide what color would be more accurate.

Overall, I like how this turned out, save that you'll have to tilt your when you look at it I think.

So here you go, *tukaram. ^^

(This is my first deviation, so please be nice!)

((Sorry I had to resubmit again. I realized a strap was half-colored. D:

Yeah, in black he looks great!
About coloring skin - to color it with markers is impossible but colored pencils are good for that. =)

Maybe so, but I also thought it looked good enough that I didn't need to color his skin.

Yeah...Hmmm, wonder what's the next request of Tres kun I should make...?

Somehow, I just can't picture him in Sephy's clothes...

Maybe in an Akatsuki coat?

Well, it's okay...You don't neccesarily have to do him in an Akatsuki coat...

I'd draw this stuff myself but I can't draw to save my life.
